Up for sale is an authentic USGI SPEAR System ELCS (Equipment Load Carrying Subsystem) load-bearing vest setup in classic M81 Woodland camouflage, complete with its hard-to-find flotation insert set and a genuine pre-MSA Paraclete Armor & Equipment pouch.
The original SPEAR label identifies the system as “Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements,” making this a legitimate piece of purpose-built U.S. Special Operations Forces equipment from the early-GWOT era.
INCLUDED
USGI SPEAR ELCS Vest / Load-Bearing System
* M81 Woodland camouflage
* Mesh construction for ventilation and reduced weight
* Extensive MOLLE/PALS attachment webbing
* Adjustable shoulder and waist system
* Original buckles, straps, zippers and hardware

Complete 4-Piece Flotation Insert Set

These inserts are frequently separated from surplus SPEAR systems, making a vest retaining the complete set considerably more desirable to collectors.
Genuine Pre-MSA Paraclete Armor & Equipment Pouch
Included on the front of the vest is an authentic early Paraclete pouch featuring the desirable original Paraclete Armor & Equipment, Inc., St. Pauls, NC manufacturer label.
CONDITION
Excellent overall used military-surplus condition, especially considering the age and era of the equipment.
The mesh remains strong, MOLLE/PALS webbing is intact, adjustment straps and hardware are present, and the original identification labels remain remarkably clear and legible.
There may be normal minor cosmetic wear, marks, fading, loose threads or other signs of previous military use/storage. No major damage or deterioration was observed.
Preservation & Packaging: The complete four-piece flotation insert set has been professionally heat-sealed together in protective packaging without heavy compression. This helps keep the original components clean, protected, and together during storage and shipment.
Please review all high-resolution photographs carefully, as they show the exact item and components you will receive and form part of the description.
COLLECTOR / HISTORICAL INTEREST
The SPEAR program was specifically developed around Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements, and surviving original SPEAR equipment has become increasingly collectible among enthusiasts of early-GWOT U.S. SOF equipment.
The combination of M81 Woodland SPEAR equipment with Coyote Tan gear is strongly associated with the transitional equipment configurations seen during the early Global War on Terror period.
This setup would make an excellent addition to an early-GWOT, SPEAR, USGI, Special Operations Forces, M81 Woodland, Paraclete, military surplus or tactical equipment collection, as well as a period-correct foundation for Army Special Forces, Navy SEAL, Delta Force/CAG and other early-GWOT SOF impressions.
No documented individual or unit provenance is represented or implied.
Original military surplus equipment. No ballistic protection capability is represented or guaranteed.
Ships carefully packed and promptly from No Quarter Tactical — Veteran Owned.
The Standard is Non-Negotiable.
