USS Iowa plankowner teak deck plank plaque. Name is obscured in the photo for privacy but this is an original item from a 1984 USS Iowa plankowner. When the Iowa was fixed up in 1984 and returned to service, the old wooden deck was removed and turned into these plaques. Only the commissioning crew received them so only around 1500 were ever made, and many of them have no doubt been lost or destroyed in the last 40 years so this is a very rare item.
