Unique, beautiful vintage LeMoyne Star quilt dating to the 1960\'s.Approximate size is 81\" x 69\". LeMoyne Star pattern is made of 8 diamond shaped star points. Each of these diamond shapes is hand embroidered with a blanket stitch adding a distinctive appearance. Rather than the traditional quilting method to attach the quilt top, back and lightweight inner batting it has been tied with powder blue yarn.
The quilt blocks measure 14-1/2\" x 15-1/2\" & sashing strips are 3\" wide.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Structurally stable and free of significant fraying, staining or fabric rot. Shows minimal aging. The 60s Paisly print of the backing, binding, and sashing pieces, as well as the multi-colored star points remain vibrant and colorful. Please view all photos to help determine condition.
