This is a vintage Don Post mask that has never been removed from the original box as you can see it and still mounted on the original display cardboard and has the original tag that has never been clipped off.
I probably could have fixed a dance pretty easily myself but I don't want to take the chance of taking something out of its original form I'll leave that too the buyer.
I'm very transparent about my States this estate the man was a smoker but the mask restored in the back room they don't have any smell to them he did most of his smoking up in the living room and on the porch but I do discloses in case someone's allergic or if they may have to do a little extra cleaning but in this case the monster rooms were in the two back bedrooms but as I say I'm very transparent about the stuff I buy.
This mask is very rare to find them in this condition. It's very normal for these to be mishapen over time. They kind of fall down and harden over time ... little bit as the vinyl cures over time but you can easily fix it with a hair dryer and then stuffing the mask head with cloth or other items to hold shape and then let it dry.
From Google common with Don Posts...
1. Stuff the mask thoroughly: Pack the inside of the mask to push the dents out and recreate its original form. Use a soft, non-staining material like plastic grocery bags, bubble wrap, or polyester poly-fill (pillow stuffing). Avoid newspaper for long-term use, as the ink can transfer to the interior over time.
2. Apply gentle heat: Take a hairdryer on a low or medium setting and hold it several inches away from the dented area. Wave it continuously to warm the vinyl up. As the vinyl warms, it will soften, relax, and conform to the shape of the stuffing inside.
3. Let it cool: Leave the stuffing inside until the vinyl cools completely to lock the smooth shape back into place.
