Original production-used storyboard sheet from V for Vendetta, the cult 2005 film starring Hugo Weaving, Natalie Portman, Stephen Rea, and John Hurt.
This storyboard is identified as V/037, Scene 7, and features four illustrated panels numbered 25 through 28. The panels depict V during an interior sequence and include an especially strong close-up image of his iconic Guy Fawkes mask.
“Axel Eichhorst” is printed beneath the final panel. Eichhorst worked as a storyboard artist on the production. The sheet also bears the printed production notation “Tommy Dunne (Armoury) V/037,” along with handwritten panel numbers.
This is an original production-used storyboard sheet—not a newly produced collectible or reproduction. As is customary for film production storyboards, the sheet is a production print or photocopy of the storyboard artwork rather than the storyboard artist’s original hand-drawn artwork.
The storyboard has been professionally custom framed in an approximately 14" x 18" black display. The custom presentation features:
• Red and black double matting
• V’s Guy Fawkes mask incorporated into the background
• Red rose imagery
• V for Vendetta title and “V” symbol
• Printed statement: “Original Storyboard Used in the Production of V for Vendetta”
• Ready-to-hang hardware
Provenance:
The storyboard originally formed part of a set of storyboards authenticated and sold by Propstore.
The buyer will receive a photocopy—not the original—of the Propstore Certificate of Authenticity issued for the original set. The certificate identifies a “Set of Storyboards” from V for Vendetta and bears Propstore registration number COA-94B0706F.
The original Propstore Certificate of Authenticity is not included. The included certificate is a reference copy documenting the provenance of the larger original group from which this individual storyboard originated.
Condition:
The production storyboard exhibits expected production and handling wear, including minor creasing, edge wear, small marks, and a small tear or nick along the left edge. These characteristics are consistent with an original working production document.
The custom frame presents well overall but may exhibit minor scratches, scuffs, dust, or handling wear. Reflections visible in the photographs are from the frame’s glazing and surrounding room.
