VINTAGE 1997 Sue Treuman Signed Studio Pottery Hanukkah Menorah **Damaged**
There have been 3 breaks, 2 of which have been successfully repaired. The first was the dad's horn, just above his right hand. The second was the holder atop the boy on the left. Both went back on seamlessly. The third was a whole other child on the left, right at the shins. Sadly, it was too far gone & so we tossed it. Aesthetically it isn't an issue as he was in the back. The problem is that when we lost the kid, we lost the last holder. I did consider trying to fashion the mom's vase into some sort of holder, but the opening is really small & that angle spells disaster. On the bright side, I did a thorough inspection & I didn't see any potentially worsening chips or cracks anywhere. So with that...
The menorah is made of stoneware clay & has a family togetherness theme. The artist began her career in New York City, but for the last 20 years has called Chapel Hill, NC her home.
