BeautifulAnchor Hocking Mayfair / Open Rose cobalt-blue pressed-glass covered cookie or biscuit jarfeaturing a raised floral rose pattern. This is in excellent condition and just one of my pieces I need to get rid of right now.

The jar has the pretty multi-sided/scalloped form with alternating molded floral panels and vertical ribbed sections. The coordinating lid features radiating geometric panels, molded floral decoration, a scalloped edge, and raised glass knob.

Wonderful addition for collectors of Anchor Hocking, Mayfair/Open Rose glass, vintage cobalt glass, and Depression-era pattern reproductions/reissues. Perfect for a high end resale environment of vintage glassware.

This piece is identified as theAnchor Hocking Mayfair / Open Rose pattern. It appears consistent with the later cobalt-blue Mayfair reproduction/reissue series rather than being represented as an original 1930s Depression-glass example.
