Up for sale is a original vintage Art Deco Egyptian Revival incense burner or small censer depicting a reclining woman or swimmer holding a bowl with a removable vented lid. Crafted in Japan during the Art Deco era (circa 1920s–1930s), this piece features striking period details including a stylized bob hairstyle, cold-painted red headband, and decorative waist band accents.
The underside of the legs is stamped with the "SY" maker's mark enclosed in a diamond logo alongside "MADE IN JAPAN".
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Plating shows rubbing, tarnishing, and brassing along high points and high-touch areas. The cold-painted black and red accents show light enamel wear. Retains its original matching removable slotted lid. Please inspect all photos closely for exact cosmetic condition.
