Puritan specialized in office cutlery, manicure tools, sewing scissors and desk lamps gift sets around the same time that Eversharp, WISS.The upper blade is stamped with the classic “HARDENED STEEL” marker indicating high-quality heat treatment designed for long-lasting edge retention. They show standard age-appropriate surface patina and oxidation consistent with vintage crafting tools. Pivot screw remains tight and the blade is still sharp. They open and close nicely.
