BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE CHALKWARE STATUE OF SAINT ANNE TEACHING MARY TO READ. STATUE STANDS 15 3/4 INCHES TALL AND HAS A MAKER\'S MARK FROM THE COLUMBIA STATUARY. THERE ARE SOME SMALL AREAS OF PAINT LOSS/CHIPS BUT OTHERWISE IS IN GREAT USED CONDITION.
She is dusty, particularly Mary\'s hair, on the book they are holding and in the area where Mary\'s left shoulder is up against St. Anne\'s body/dress. I did not touch anything because I do not know how to clean these delicate chalkware pieces and wanted to leave it to the buyer. It looks as though a small horse hair artist\'s paint brush would gently remove the dust.
