Vintage handmade women's head cloth, traditionally used as a hair wrap by Ixil tribe. Flawless intricate handwoven designs with different patterns on each side. Made on a backstrap loom in Nebaj, Quiché district, Guatemala. Purchased in the 1980's. In excellent condition. 15 inches wide and 100 inches long, not including tassels. Missing one tassel. No tears, holes or stains.
