Vintage Universal vacuum bottle / thermos by Landers, Frary & Clark, offered with its brown leather carry case/holder. The leather case is personalized in gold with the name “H.G. Maxson,” which adds character and display appeal.
This is a handsome early vintage piece with a chrome-tone body and screw-on cup/lid. The underside markings show “UNIVERSAL” and “Landers Frary & Clark,” along with patent references and “Made in U.S.A.” consistent with older Universal vacuum bottle production.
Condition is good used vintage condition. It shows expected age and use, including surface scratches, tarnish/spotting, light wear, and minor dings. The leather case also shows age-related wear from normal use and storage. Please review all photos carefully for cosmetic condition.
The cup is included, and the bottle fits into the leather holder as shown. Selling as a vintage collectible/display piece. Since this is an older thermos, I have not tested it for modern heat/cold retention and would not guarantee performance to original specifications.
