VINTAGE -PEGLER EST 1889-ENGLAND HEAVY BRASS WATER TAP-FAUCET-COLD WATER SPIGOT For Sale

This was removed this faucet from a NYC Rent Controlled apartment, tenant had no idea when it was installed- it looked utterly disgusting when we removed it. This faucet was destined for the junk bucket 7 years ago,but when we noticed the cap on it I rescued it personally. This faucet has wiped virtually clean with a VERY FIRM GRIP (REALLY REALLY REALY FIRM) WITH A DRY CHAMOIS ONLY,and has a shine to it like it is brand new,truly remarkable shine.Third generation P&H company and never seen anything comeback from its death bed like this one. I don\'t have any idea of its age,but the tenant has been in the aparment since 1956 and she moved in with it according to what she said.It now looks like it came out of a showroom except for the gunk inside the spout!!! unknown age ,we have had it since 2013 and tenant had it since 1956.
