VINTAGE Rare Yellow Version H E Luhrs Halloween Die Cut Pumpkin Scarecrow 1940s
Rare Vintage 1940s/1950s H.E. Luhrs Halloween Jack-O'-Lantern Farmer Embossed Die-Cut Decoration – Rare Yellow Color Variant
Item Description:
Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, highly collectible piece of mid-century holiday ephemera: an original Vintage H.E. Luhrs Halloween Jack-O'-Lantern "Farmer" Die-Cut Decoration. While this iconic design is traditionally printed in a deep pumpkin orange, this particular piece is the hard-to-find alternate yellow and yellow-orange color variant.
Produced in the United States by the H.E. Luhrs company (closely tied to Beistle production), this piece features a stylized pumpkin farmer wearing a patterned collar, a classic straw hat, and holding a sprig of wheat or straw in his mouth. The vivid yellow and warm yellow-orange lithograph palette makes this variant stand out dramatically on a wall or display. It features crisp embossing (raised-relief details) that gives the face and hat wonderful structural texture.
Details & Markings:
* Brand/Maker: H.E. Luhrs

The embossed relief is prominent with zero crushing. Seller Note: Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to inspect the minor edge/corner wear and light age-toning typical of genuine 75+ year old paper holiday artifacts.
