THE RESTORATION & SANITIZATION STANDARD

Every estate pipe I offer has undergone a rigorous, professional restoration process to ensure it arrives at your door completely clean, sanitized, and ready to enjoy from the very first light.

My multi-step detailing process includes:

* **Deep Cleaned & Sanitized:** The stummel, mortise, and airway have been meticulously cleaned inside and out using premium high-proof alcohol treatments.

* **Precision Reaming:** The tobacco chamber is reamed completely down to the bare, healthy briar wood to ensure a fresh start. No old, stale cake is left behind.

* **Optional Protective Bowl Coating:** To protect the freshly reamed wood and encourage a swift break-in, I apply a light, organic, food-grade bowl coating. *Note: If you prefer to smoke directly on bare briar, this coating is entirely non-permanent and can be easily wiped away with a damp paper towel.*

* **Stem Restoration:** All tooth chatter and bite marks have been professionally drawn out and removed from the stem. It has been polished back to its original deep, high-gloss finish.

* **High-Grade Finish Care:** The briar has been gently buffed and sealed with premium Carnauba wax to maximize the depth and beauty of the natural grain.

A NOTE ON \"INTERNAL GHOSTING\"

I exhaust every advanced restoration method available including alcohol cotton packs, salt-and-alcohol treatments, fluid retorts, and ozone gas treatments to completely strip out the previous owner\'s tobacco residue. While I am highly successful at removing \"ghosts\" from 99% of my pipes, some decades-old briar blocks retain a deep, stubborn aroma depending on what was smoked in them. This is simply the nature of heritage briar. BAGS AND BOXES MAY STILL EXHIBIT GHOSTING

FITMENT & REPAIR INTEGRITY

* **Airway Alignment:** I am a purist when it comes to engineering. I do not use harsh tenon expanders on slightly loose stems; instead, I utilize traditional, non-destructive beeswax to achieve a smooth, secure, and airtight friction fit.

* **Full Disclosure:** If any structural repairs (such as band reinforcements or micro-fills) were required during restoration, they will always be clearly noted and described in detail within the description.

I take extensive high-resolution photos from multiple angles under balanced lighting to give you the most accurate view possible. Because I am a craftsman rather than a professional studio photographer, these pipes consistently look even more vibrant and beautiful in person.
