VTG 1940s Apron Sewing Pattern Lot 5 Simplicity McCall DuBarry Heart Bib Ruffle For Sale

A charming lot of five original 1940s apron sewing patterns, all true vintage from the wartime years and not modern reproductions. Included are Simplicity 3509 in size Medium, copyright 1940, with three full bib aprons including the beloved heart-shaped bib with ruffle trim, a ruffle-tiered apron and a classic pocket apron; DuBarry 2710B in size Medium, copyright 1941, a 10 cent "Easily-Made" pattern with two bib apron styles and a half apron, bearing a previous owner's penciled name on the front; Simplicity 4868 in size Medium, a printed pattern with a scalloped pinafore apron and a cross-back style, with the original reorder flap still attached; Simplicity 1163 in size Medium, with a scalloped bib apron, a ruffled halter apron and a ruffled half apron with pockets; and McCall 1124 in size Large 18 to 20, a ruffled and embroidered apron pattern in three styles that came with an embroidery transfer. Dates for 4868, 1163 and 1124 are approximate. The patterns appear to have been cut and have not been counted, so they are sold as found, with instruction sheets present. Envelopes show honest age with creasing, edge wear, small tears and some marks, so please see the photos. These are wonderful for sewing authentic retro aprons or for framing the envelope art in a vintage kitchen. Ships flat and protected.
