Vintage 1960s Inarco Japan ceramic Christmas planter featuring an adorable big-eye Cocker Spaniel puppy wearing a Santa hat and holding a candy cane in its mouth.
A charming piece of vintage Christmas kitsch with classic mid-century Inarco styling. Great for collectors of vintage Japan ceramics, Inarco, Christmas décor, and animal-themed collectibles.
Approximately 7\" high x 6\" long x 4.5\" wide. Gold-tone INARCO JAPAN sticker remains on the bottom, with E 4529 stamped into the ceramic.
Displays well filled with faux Christmas greenery, a small seasonal plant, or simply displayed as a vintage holiday collectible.
Condition: Good overall vintage condition with no cracks. Crazing is visible inside the planter, as well as on the face and lower portion. Paint loss is present on the back of the red Santa hat, with minor paint loss on the bottom edge of the green bow. Some light dirt/dust is present in the interior creases, but no significant soil staining or signs of extensive planter use. A few small dots on the dog\'s face appear original.
