Vintage 1960s MCM Atomic Line Gold Drizzle Hourglass Lava Lamp Base Only Aristocrat.
Vintage mid-century modern atomic-style hourglass replacement base for a motion/lava lamp. Features a classic off-white or cream fiberglass/plastic composite shell decorated with a brown abstract continuous "hairline" or string-spray atomic pattern.
Includes the original internal reflector cone with UL safety label ("Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. Inspected Portable Lamp Issue No. 54,859") and a warning sticker specifying "USE ONLY 30 or 40 Reflector Bulb." Attached is the vintage electrical cord featuring a Leviton inline thumbwheel switch (3A-250V / 6A-125V) and a two-prong plug.
