From research, it is missing some parts. The octopus head/inkwell lid is missing; the ink cup is missing; the glass background piece is missing. There may be other parts or pieces that we are not aware of that are missing. There does not appear to be any cracks in the metal that we can see. There is green oxidation on the metal. There is tarnish and discoloration. We have not cleaned, polished or dusted this item. It measures about 9 inches across at the widest place and about 8 inches tall at the tallest place.
