Original Cincinnati A Seamless farm seed/feed sack, measuring 40” × 20”.
Constructed from sturdy off-white woven cotton with blue and red pinstripes and a faint “CINCINNATI A SEAMLESS” circular stencil logo.
These early seamless bags were produced by the Cincinnati Seamless Bag Company, known for pioneering high-strength woven sacks used for flour, seed, and grain between the 1910s and 1930s before merging with Bemis.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light age spotting and minor discoloration from decades of storage
Faint stenciling remains legible
Fabric is soft, intact, and suitable for display or repurposing
Details:
Perfect for primitive farm décor, country store displays, or vintage textile collections.
🧵 Historical Note
“Seamless” sacks represented a leap in early 20th-century agricultural packaging — woven as a single tube for greater strength and reusability.
The Cincinnati Seamless Bag Co. was among the few Midwestern producers competing with Bemis and Fulton Bag during the early industrial grain trade era.
This design predates printed advertising graphics, giving it a utilitarian charm highly prized by collectors of early Americana.
