VTG MEXICAN FOLK ART HANDPAINTED BLUE BIRD FIGURINE TONALA JALISCO 4.25\" For Sale

We are parting with our collection of Mexican birds. This is a Vintage hand papinted Bird from the Tonala ~ Jalisco region of Mexico. Acquired in the 1960s. Handpainted in varying shades of blue and black on the traditional blue/gray background. The birds back is accented with another bird and leaves. The entire piece is glazed and the age of this has resulted in some slight crazing. Measures nearly 4 1/4\" high x 2 3/4\" wide x 5 3/4\" long.
In nice condition for it\'s age. There are expected paint scuffs, glazing pops and glazing skips ~ mainly due to age and storage and crafting technique. This piece is marked on the underside.
