Description:Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic matching pair of vintage mid-century Oneida Silversmiths silver-plated console candlestick holders. Made in Japan, these elegant low-profile holders feature a classic trumpet design with heavily weighted bases for excellent stability. They stand approximately 3.5 inches tall and beautifully accommodate standard taper candles.
Both pieces still feature their original blue foil factory labels on the bottom green felt, explicitly showing the "Tarnish-Resistant" designation. Because of Oneida's original protective factory lacquer coating, these require no silver polish—making them incredibly low-maintenance and bright.Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The silver possesses a gorgeous, highly reflective mirror finish. The protective factory lacquer coating is intact with no tarnish or peeling. Please note the following minor vintage characteristics (see photos):• Faint, very minor surface scratches/scuff from light handling and storage.
• The clear lacquer is remarkably well intact across the body, especially for their age, with light scratching and standard shelf wear limited mainly to bottom rims, and one very small, barely noticeable spot on one holder.
• The green protective felt on the bottom of one holder shows some vintage discoloration/fading, though the blue foil label remains fully legible.A stunning, low-maintenance set from a trusted maker, ready to add classic elegance to your holiday table, mantel, or console display. Ships quickly and securely packed to prevent any damage to the weighted bases.
