This is a WOODEN RUSSIAN TOY CALLED MATRYOSHKA. It is a ROLY-POLY MUSICAL TOY WITH A JINGLE. BOTH HAND-MADE & HAND-PAINTED, it is 4-1/2” tall and 3” at its widest point. It has a pleasant JINGLE when touched or moved. This collectible was MADE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION and represents RUSSIAN FOLK CULTURE. It is signed on the bottom by the maker but it is illegible. It also has the date 1993 on it. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION except for one small place on the bottom where the letters have become illegible.
