A beautifully rendered color lithograph postcard depicting the iconic Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, with the magnificent Palazzo Ca d'Oro (House of Gold) prominently featured on the right. The scene captures the timeless charm of Venice with a gondolier steering his gondola across the tranquil green waters, with several additional gondolas and a vaporetto visible in the background. The elegant Gothic facade of the Ca d'Oro, with its intricate arched loggias and ornate stonework, dominates the composition alongside a row of colorful Venetian palazzi stretching into the distance. The card is a high-quality chromolithograph printed in Italy (Stampata in Italia), published by Uff. Rev. Stampa Milano, catalog number N. 4075, series number 2552-2. The back features a divided back format with lines for address and message, consistent with the era of production. A faint artist signature is visible in the lower right corner of the front image. This is an unposted example with no stamp or postmark. The back bears a light pencil notation. The card displays the warm, richly saturated tones characteristic of quality Italian lithographic printing of this period, making it an attractive display piece as well as a collectible. Condition is Good overall. There is light age toning and minor foxing spots to both front and back, mild soiling consistent with age, and slightly rounded corners. No tears, creases, or writing on the front image. Colors remain appealing and the image is clear and undamaged. A solid example for any Venice, Grand Canal, or Italian topographical postcard collection.
