The Crown PR-350 pocket radio from the mid-1950s is a highly sought-after collectible item due to its rarity as a pre-transistor radio. This radio had a very short run due to the fact that it was one of the last ones made prior to the transistor radio coming out therefore there aren’t very many of them out there. I had a hard time investigating this radio due to the fact that there was very little information from other collectors. It was made right at the end of the tube radio use. In comparison, very few were made, and ones in this condition are even more rare. Check this one out it is a real beauty inside and out. It does show some signs of wear from minor use but for the age it is in remarkable condition. This radio is untested due to my lack of access to batteries. But there has been no battery corrosion or any signs of deterioration on the inside as you can see from the pictures. The original batteries are still intact for a great display if that is your intention because even they have a collector value. They have a crisp like new shine to them. What makes this radio even more appealing to collectors as the fact that it has the original earphone that also looks to be in great condition other.
