In the late 1980’s, I spent every day Icould at the Cotton Patch Mine. Panning and sluicing there was heaven, and youalways walked away with gold. This crystal is stream worn and tumbled, but youcan still see several crystal faces. The Cotton Patch is one of the only minesin the state where crystalline gold was found. I don’t remember what year Ifound it, but it was in the late 1980s.
