Bottle brush Chrismas tree arrangements! Inspired by a childhood love of old timey bottle brush Christmas trees and my collection of mid century ashtrays and darling collectible ceramic pots. Whimsical, romantic, with just a touch of shabby chic, they include antique findings as well as sourced vintage Christmas ornaments(mercury glass) some of which were my Grandmother’s—born in 1895 in Northern Michigan. Fabulous as Holiday centerpieces but a mantle or side table will certainly do! Each is unique. No two are alike and cannot be replicated. Signed and dated on the reverse, many hours are spent building each original arrangement along with love, thought, good will, glue and fun, Happy Holidays!!!
This particular Vintage Style Christmas arrangement is on a MCM rectangular ashtray. There is a porcelain ballerina (Sugarplum Fairy) and a red velvet nutcracker. There’s also a darling cherub sitting on a tree/chair playing his violin for the sugarplum fairy. A wee little green birdie is part of that little figurine. There’s also vintage wooden ornaments, a snowman and more! There was a repair done on the planter to the cherubs left foot. Approx 10 x 10.5 inches at its widest and tallest points.
** Vintage, vintage style and new items are used in the arrangements. Vintage items may contain chips or repairs which add charm and whimsy to the items.
