Born into a legacy of craftsmanship, Izumi Oki is the daughter of the legendary Contemporary Master Craftsman Sansaku Sekiguchi. Her independent works are highly collectible and widely celebrated for their peaceful, elegant aesthetics.
This specific piece stands at 10 inches tall and features a beautifully turned wooden structure with a distinct top-bun hairstyle. The slender body is exquisitely detailed with hand-painted and incised red camellia blossoms, vibrant green foliage, and a striking pink-trimmed kimono collar. The serene face showcases Oki's signature delicate, closed-eye expression. The underside of the base bears her authentic red square signature stamp reading 「いずみ」 (Izumi).
