They wear work clothes and an assortment of period hats, including a bucket hat, flat cap and straw boater. One smiling man appears to have a cigarette in his mouth. Wonderful occupational and working-class history.The back has a handwritten message addressed to Ruby that appears to read, “Bet you don’t know who is in here, Ruby. Tell me,” along with remnants of black album paper. The photograph has age-related toning and light edge and corner wear.
