Up for sale is an exceptional original lot of two (2) vintage black and white snapshot photographs dating to the 1930s. This matching set captures a fantastic primary-source look at mid-century American outdoor life, classic transportation, and hunting history, preserved with premier genealogical provenance from Paducah, Kentucky. The lot highlights include:
* One (1) vertical snapshot featuring two men posing proudly outdoors alongside an antique 1930s coupe automobile while holding long-guns / hunting rifles. A woman is visible smiling from inside the car window. The reverse side features spectacular handwritten pencil identification listing family names: "Lola Armstrong, Roy Williams, Philip Armstrong". It also features a small printed code "CR".
* One (1) square-format snapshot capturing a candid view of a man lounging on the wide running board of a classic mid-1930s pickup truck or utility vehicle parked in a field. The lower left field displays a partial finger obstruction over the lens from the original photographer, adding excellent vintage vernacular character. The reverse features a dark ink developer stamp "1509". Both pictures have minor creases and one photo has a very small tear.
