Vintage 1933 Chicago World’s Fair Necklace Art Deco JewelryAssociated with the 1933 Chicago World's Fair “A Century of Progress".This piece is a nice vintage Art Deco collectible necklace!The center focal pendant is likely celluloid (it is some form of plastic from the 1930’s) and the center it incorporates a "Century of Progress" mini metal medallion from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The lavalier-style necklace is brass with filigree findings on either side of the floral center piece. The filigree findings have a center “keystone” shape with cream colored enamel detailing. The floral center piece has some patina as well as the center medallion has patina. The chain is also brass and has patina. No breaks or repairs. From a smoke free home. Necklace measures approximately 15 1/2” long end to end. Spring ring clasp. Works perfectly and holds securely.Please message with questions.
