Front & Back Covers: Authentic vintage condition showing honest kitchen shelf wear. The black cloth features beautiful, distinct embossed floral and geometric grid textures. There is minor surface scuffing, edgerubbing, a light diagonal surface scratch in the upper-left quadrant of the back cover, and a few minor spots of cloth loss/flaking on the front just above the bottom text banner which expose small specs of the under-board.
Front & Spine Lettering:
The primary front emblem and the gold/orange stamped lettering on the spine are unusually bright, deeply pressed, and sharp with minimal
rubbing or oxidation.
Spine & Binding: The structural binding sits squared and holds firm. There is minor cloth fraying and structural splitting at the very top edge (head) of the spine from historic shelf handling.
Interior Pages & Thumb-Index: Exceptionally clean interior text block! The pages show a natural, uniform vintage amber patina completely free of modern kitchen grease stains, dark moisture rings, or heavy food splatters. Crucially, the unique "stair-step" cut pages and fragile paper thumb-index tabs are 100% intact and highly readable—a rare find for this frequently used title.
