Up for sale is a vintage 1940s Barq's Root Beer tin advertising sign (door push/strip sign). Manufacturer:Proudly stamped on the bottom right margin: "STOUT SIGN CO. ST. LOUIS, MO." Stout is one of the most famous and highly collectible names in vintage soda and petroliana advertising.Condition & Patina:Front: Features the classic red, white, and blue graphics reading "Drink Barq's It's Good". The sign shows incredible, authentic age with beautiful heavy paint crazing/cracking throughout the lithograph. There is some minor paint loss and oxidation around the edges and mounting hole, giving it the perfect rustic Americana look.
