Vintage pressed pulp (molded paper mache) Christmas tree, circa 1940s. Tiered, snow-covered branches with original green paint on the branch edges, standing on a red and yellow painted base. Approx. 10 inches tall. A lovely, primitive piece for a putz, mantel, or vintage Christmas display. Solid sculpture - not a candy container.
CONDITION: Honest age wear. The original green on the branch edges has faded heavily, giving it a soft, snowy look. Small dark specks on the surface, minor damage/wear at the very tip, and some light water damage visible on the bottom. No cracks observed. Please view all photos - they are part of the description.
Packed carefully with plenty of padding.
