Vintage 1946 General Electric Tabletop Brown Bakelite AM Tube Radio Model #202 For Sale

The Vintage 1946 General Electric Tabletop Dark Brown Bakelite AM Tube Radio Model #202 is a classic piece of American radio history. Made by General Electric in the United States, this radio exudes retro mid-century design . The Bakelite material gives it a unique and vintage aesthetic, making it a valuable collectible for enthusiasts of 1930s to 1940s radios. It is missing the back.Radio does not turn on at all. It was missing a tube and i tried replacing it with still no results. It may be a very easy fix. There are a couple of wires inside that are not connected to anything and I do not know enough about radios to experiment . So I am selling as-is and maybe it can be fixed by the new owner. The cabinet is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. Ity does have minor scuffs and scratches. Both knobs and the dial seem to work just fine.
