This is rare and exceptional, investment-grade of mid-century barware: 1950’s ANRI “Happy Hobo, Traveler (Vagabond), two piece corkscrew. Hand carved and hand-painted by master artisan in the Val Gardens region in Italy, this piece is in excellent condition. Unlike standard fixed-handle models, this rare variant completely unscrews at the torso, made of Alpine Maple, to reveal a premium long-shank metal helix with two machined grooves and turned threads. It has been well preserved and shows zero wood chips or splits, and vibrant original colors, eyes are blue! No pins or repairs, 100% factory original.
