Charming vintage metal picnic basket dating to approximately the 1950s, featuring a warm golden-brown faux wood grain lithographed finish and real wooden swing handles. The hinged lid has an attractive raised geometric design, and small ventilation holes on the sides add to its classic mid-century picnic-basket construction.
The basket measures approximately 14" long × 9 3/4" wide × 8" tall, not including the handles when raised.
Condition: This is a genuine vintage piece and shows age-appropriate wear consistent with decades of use and storage. There are scattered scratches and scuffs, areas of finish loss and wear primarily around the edges and rim, and normal wear to the interior. The wooden handles are intact and have a lovely aged finish. The lid opens and closes properly.
