beautifully preserved, 100% authentic vintage Hires Root Beer die-cut cardboard advertising sign. This is a genuine mid-century store counter display piece, featuring the iconic "Drink Hires" oval design with vertical blue and cream stripes and a classic glass bottle graphic.
Details & Features:
• Authenticity: Genuine vintage piece marked "PRINTED IN U.S.A." on the lower right front edge.
• Material: Thick textured cardboard with a unique linen/pebbled finish on the lithographed front face. Includes the original gray cardboard fold-out easel stand on the back.
• Design: Die-cut shape highlighting the upper bottle neck and cap. Includes a factory-punched top hole for optional hanging.
Condition Report:
• Front Face: Excellent, high-grade display condition. The colors are incredibly rich and vibrant with fantastic contrast. The lettering is bold and crisp. There is minimal surface scuffing and the edges and die-cut corners remain remarkably sharp.
• Reverse Side: The original cardboard easel back is completely intact, flat, and unbent. There is significant vintage moisture/water staining across the top half of the reverse side (clearly pictured). This staining has not bled through or impacted the vibrant graphics on the front display side
