Item: Original 1950s Lucky Strike Cigarettes Embossed Tin Advertising Sign
Dimensions: Approximately 22.5" x 16"
Condition: Authentic vintage condition with incredible display appeal.
100% original, mid-century Lucky Strike Cigarettes metal advertising sign featuring the classic "Buy Them Here!" and "Luckies Taste Better" slogans. This is an authentic piece of 1950s tobacciana advertising, NOT a modern reproduction.
Key Features & Authenticity:
• Embossed Detailing: The lettering, central bullseye logo, and cigarette pack graphics are deeply stamped/embossed from the reverse, giving the sign a beautiful dimensional look on the front.
• Vibrant Graphics: The front face of the sign has retained excellent gloss and exceptionally bright reds, yellows, and whites with minimal surface scratching across the primary graphic area.
Condition Notes (Please Review Photos):
• Bent Bottom Edge: The bottom margin of the sign is bent inward, a structural feature consistent with how these signs were originally mounted or slotted into a retail counter/shelf display base.
• Patina & Wear: Shows heavy, honest oxidation and rust localized on the reverse side, around the mounting holes, and along the edges. There is moderate paint flaking/chipping primarily restricted to the very bottom edge near the bend.
