Chrysler Payroll Stubs: 27 individual pay stubs issued by the Chrysler Corporation Automotive Body Division (Plant 4). The reverse sides feature the authentic "ABD Chrysler Corporation" watermark.
Detroit Edison Bill: 1 utility bill mailed in April 1955 to Edward McDowell at a Detroit address. The bill features a fantastic mid-century red ink advertisement reading, "Up to $90 Trade-In For Your Old Electric Range On A '55 Model."
Historical Context: An excellent authentic grouping for mid-century American automotive historians, genealogists, or Detroit ephemera collectors.
Condition & Flaws to Disclose
Items are in used, vintage condition and show typical wear for 70-year-old paper.
The pay stubs have prominent horizontal center fold lines and minor corner crinkling.
The electric bill has a strong vertical center crease, general edge wear, and handwritten ink and pencil notes on the front (including "Paid by check 4-30-55").
Light paper yellowing/discoloration is present across the lot.
