Vintage 1959 University of Colorado Boulder development foundation solicitation set. This historical ephemera collection includes a formal letter dated December 1959 from Robert C. Hawley, Chairman of the Board of Directors, addressed to alumni regarding holiday season contributions. Also included is a colorful illustrated brochure titled "How a silly question started me paying off an old debt," featuring mid-century artwork and a testimonial story sponsored by Reader's Digest. The set is completed by the original yellow University of Colorado Business Reply Mail envelope. A wonderful piece of collegiate history for CU Boulder collectors or fans of mid-century graphic design.
Condition Description: Items show original fold lines from mailing. The envelope has a typed address and some light edge wear consistent with 1959 postal handling. The letter and brochure are well-preserved with minor age-toning.
