Vintage Gerber Magnum Hunter fixed blade hunting knife dating to approximately the mid-to-late 1960s.
Features the desirable early bright chrome-finished cast aluminum handle and classic Gerber sword-logo marking. Blade measures approximately 5½ inches, consistent with the early Magnum pattern.
Knife includes its vintage brown leather sheath.
Overall very nice vintage condition for its age. Blade remains bright with light surface marks and minor age-related spotting/discoloration visible near the guard. Handle shows light surface wear and small age spots. Leather sheath shows normal wear, scratches and aging from storage/use.
A great early Gerber hunting knife and a desirable piece for collectors of vintage Gerber, Portland-era knives and American sporting cutlery.
