Up for sale is a classic mid-1960s vintage General Electric 10-Transistor AM pocket radio. This iconic piece of portable audio history features a sleek black plastic chassis, classic textured silver/chrome speaker grille, and its original protective leather carrying case.
Condition Details:
• Functionality: TESTED AND WORKING. Two standard AA batteries were installed, and the unit powers on properly. It successfully tunes into local AM radio stations with clear reception for its age. Volume and tuning dials adjust smoothly.
• Cosmetics: Excellent vintage condition. The internal electronics compartment and battery contacts are clean with no heavy active corrosion issues. The back casing has some vintage tape residue/staining from a previous sticker (as shown in photos).
• Leather Case: Included and intact, showing minor vintage wear but providing excellent protection for the unit.
