Up for sale is a 5-card lot from the classic 1965Gilligan’s Island trading card set, including the desirable #1 card.
This is a fun group of original cards from one oftelevision’s most recognizable sitcoms, featuring black and white scenes fromthe series with humorous speech bubbles on the fronts.
Cards included:
#1, #9, #31, #33 and #35
5 different cards with no duplicates.
The backs feature the distinctive two-color “Gilligan inAction” design. When arranged in numerical order, the complete 55-cardseries was designed to create a double-feature flip movie, making theseespecially interesting examples of 1960s nonsport card design.
Condition
The cards present nicely overall and retain good imagequality and contrast. As shown in the detailed photographs, there is typicalvintage wear, including varying degrees of corner and edge wear, centeringdifferences, surface wear and age related toning.
The #1 card is pictured individually in close detailso buyers can carefully evaluate its condition.
