This is an early Captain America’s menu featuring colorful Captain America comic-book artwork on the front cover and the restaurant’s original “Captain America’s Cookhouse” branding.
Captain America’s opened on Grafton Street in Dublin in 1971 and became a well-known Dublin institution. The restaurant combined American-style food, rock-and-roll memorabilia and comic-book imagery at a time when this type of themed restaurant was highly unusual in Ireland.
