Up for sale is a rare piece of collegiate history! This is an authentic vintage Skidmore College \"Half Century Award\" medal medallion, presented to alumni celebrating their 50th graduation anniversary milestone.
The edge of the substantial medallion is deeply stamped with \"SKIDMORE COLLEGE HALF CENTURY AWARD\". The front depicts a beautiful, high-relief dimensional sculpture of an historic campus grouping.
The back features a classic polished finish beautifully hand-engraved in script with the recipient\'s initials and the milestone year: \"A.F. 1972\" (representing a member of the historic Skidmore Class of 1922). It is suspended on a simple, minimal black cord necklet loop.
