Outstanding original 1976 McDonald\'s uniform shirt tailored by Van Heusen specifically for McDonald\'s. Still retained in its original vintage plastic packaging, this cream plaid shirt features fine red, green, yellow and brown grid lines with an embroidered red Golden Arches “M” on the chest pocket. The interior label reads “Tailored by Van Heusen for McDonald’s” and is copyright dated 1976 McDonald’s System, Inc. Unlike the more familiar casual fast-food uniforms, this piece has a distinctly tailored dress-shirt appearance, making it an especially interesting example of early McDonald’s corporate and restaurant uniform history. An excellent display piece for collectors of McDonald’s memorabilia, vintage restaurant advertising, corporate uniforms, Van Heusen clothing or 1970s Americana.
