These medals were produced for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Transatlantic Council (Rhineland District) and local Girl Scout chapters servicing U.S. military families stationed abroad during the Cold War.Both medals boast an exceptional pedigree, featuring the crisp, stamped "Deschler München 90" maker's mark on both the reverse side of the medallions and the top pin backings. 1977 Medal (Left): Features the BSA Transatlantic Council / Rhineland District insignia, highlighting the Order of the Arrow (OA) Native American profile emblem in deep bronze. It hangs from its original, vibrant red-and-white vertically striped ribbon complete with the iconic red arrow overlay.
