Vintage 1979 handmade ceramic Darth Vader lamp / night light.
Stands about 12 inches tall and 9.5 inches across at the base.
This appears to be one of the unlicensed ceramic Darth Vader lamps made during the original Star Wars era. The bottom is hand-inscribed:
“Danny Happy Birthday Love Always Aunt Kathy Uncle Steve Oct 1979”
The lamp is finished in glossy black with colored translucent details in the eyes and chest panel that illuminate when the internal light is on.
Condition / Important Notes:
* Vintage handmade ceramic piece dated October 1979
* Lamp currently illuminates as shown in the photos
* Appears to be missing the original lightsaber/accessory that would have extended from the opening between Darth Vader’s hands
* Ceramic has typical age-related cosmetic wear; please review all photos closely
* Internal light fixture is loose/free-floating inside the ceramic body
* Fixture appears to have previously been secured internally, possibly with tape or a similar material
* Wiring and internal construction are old and somewhat makeshift
* Because of the age and condition of the electrical components, I strongly recommend rewiring/restoration before regular use

* No attempt has been made to repair or modify the lamp
