Vintage mid-1980s industrial / PC-compatible computer motherboard or single-board computer.Large, heavily populated board featuring a dedicated 640K RAM section with 4164 DRAM, Intel P8259A interrupt controller, NEC D8237AC-5 DMA controller, D8255-series peripheral controller, ROM/EPROM sockets, DIP-switch configuration and multiple large expansion connectors.Several IC date codes indicate approximately 1985-1986 production. Board is marked Made in Taiwan and includes a JACON-labelled ROM/EPROM.Exact original computer/system application has not been positively identified.Very interesting early PC-era board for vintage computer collectors, restoration, research, display or parts.Some sockets are unpopulated as photographed.
